Who is watching when you berate yourself?

After you call yourself all the negative names you can think of, which part of you is most hurt?

I bet it is the part that is the youngest and most vulnerable.

Can you bring empathy to that part of you that needs comfort? Can you simply stop and bring the hurt presence to mind and say “I love you. I am sorry I said those things. They are not true.”

You will have to do this exercise many times.

It’s ok.

Just do it, as Nike says.

Just do it!

Always on your side,
