Peace.

There is talk of war. There is a sense that those who like to wage wars are firmly entrenched in our leadership.

Have you seen VICE? The movie about Dick Cheney?

He was responsible for the Iraq war. He seemed to love war. I can’t control the warmongering folk in our world. I can only control me.

I want to wage peace.

Waging peace is more productive than waging war.

I used to wage war against myself. I had a set of benchmarks against which I judged myself.

The benchmarks were never cemented and were always shifting and I could never win.

When I decided to try the peaceful approach to Me, it was hard. I felt like I was a slouch. I felt like I had given myself permission to be lazy.

I am doing better every day and I am learning that the absence of angst might just be peace.

Join me…let’s wage peace.

Always on your side,

Indrani
